The HRV Blackout Mk.1 is a small, handheld device that shuts out HRV. It can be thrown on a surface to stick, where it will stay until the player is dead or the device is shot. The Blackout deploys a blue bubble, which will hide any amount of players from HRV detection as long as they stay within the bubble. The device can be thrown and will stick to almost any surface in the game. It stays active for 5 minutes, or 20 seconds after the death of the person who deployed it. It is very useful for those wishing to cloak themselves from enemy HRV for any reason, often used by snipers to avoid attention. However, the bubble it produces is visible to the naked eye and HRV with a direct line of sight, which can alert enemies of someone or something inside.
This item is unlocked at level 8 and is also included in the Reward Pack for that level as a 3 day trial version
