Gz again on officially reaching 6000 edits mate ;) and awesome job on the 3.01 & 3.02 patch pages, i think its awesome that you added those arrows they make it alot easier to see what's been in- and decreased :)
Thanks Illbe! It definitely took a while to find a good arrow for the changes. I'd like to move the changes into a borderless-table so everything is nicely organized into rows and columns, but its nothing urgent.
that would be nice :) on a side note i feel like we are soon at a stage where we actually have most of the current items, released or not, from BL:R and i see alot of people starting to refer to the wikia on the DCord.
when that is said though there are still stuff missing :)
Accidently put the Kawaii ArmetX as an Armor tag and dont know how to remove it and the two new weapon camo things although they dont have names I have asked Domino about the names and had the go to good so have no fear roadblock is here! Sometimes! Still be in fear!
The things I want done in the near future are as follows:
- Find info on EBL and BCL, differences between the 2, winners of the bigger tournaments that they host and who is responsible for both of them in general. Add both pages + maybe a tournament page.
- Finish the weapon parts section. - Update info boxes
I want to try and find some information on the titles, camoes and other rare stuff that we have had lying around as half empty pages for a while now.
When I say overview then I am referring to the boxes in the image here. they deffer which doesnt make alot of sense imo. since i feel we should aim to be consistent in our design and formatting
Hey axio i was wondering all these old pages with BL: tango down stuff.. should we delete those? alot of them are incomplete and it is not possible to play the game at all anymore since it ran on "Games for Windows" which shut down a couple of years ago. I bought the game to try it out and since the service isnt online anymore you cannot access the game.
Also the overview difference between the parts and the armor should i just pick one to remove or?
Btw i made a list of things that need to be done not sure if you're interested in taking a look at it
hey Axio, Since its been awhile since i last wrote here could u update me on how i create the infoboxes used on the depot, and armor pages? i want to make some for the weapon parts, and for the life of me i cannot remember where or how u did it. I want to make it so we can see the stats on the parts properly.
You're talking about the infobox that shows the image and stats of the item, right?
If so, I would copy the code from Template:Infobox Armor or Template:Infobox Depot into a new page. Make sure to name the new page "Template:Infobox Part" and replace part with whatever you want to call it whatever you want.
I would take a look at the code for the two templates I linked above and then let me know if you have anymore questions.
I found out there was a weapon infobox already, i used that one for the parts to create some consistency in the weapon and weapon parts. I've changed all the infoboxes in the muzzle section. are you cool with the way it looks or should we find another solution?
Hey mate when i tried editing this page (http://blacklight.wikia.com/wiki/Briar_Balanced_Barrel) the column that encompasses the entire page kept everything in place however it is the only page with this column so i wanted to remove it however when i do this the overview over the barrels moves up and doesnt stay in place do u have an idea of how i can keep it in the bottom?
That's exactly I put that column there, it keeps the NavBox at the bottom and prevents it from creeping up.
I'm sure there's some CSS keyword or solution that could be used on the Navbox but I don't know it. I'll take a look later, I'm sure others have had the same issue but the column is invisible to the user and doesn't add any blank space.
I misread your comment, taking a look at the page now.
I tried removing the column that encompassed the page and when previewed the Navbox at the bottom does move up and squishes itself.
The column will need to stay or more content will need to be added, or some CSS research will need to be done to keep the Navbox from creeping up.
oh yeah by the way when i am done with all the parts ill be moving on to fixing the overview in the bottom because i realized that parts and armor pages have 2 different overviews one black and one in the current theme
I added the "Lore" section/story on the Breach Hammer page based off information communicated to me by Aita (BCL Official) and Domino (HSL official) on twitter. I am unfamilliar with the method of citation used on fandom and seeing as how none of the other blacklight pages seem to have citations of any kind that I can find I have no way of citing this. This is the link to the conversation if you wish to look at it. https://twitter.com/JS11_BLR/status/867840633729306624
I see you changed the category of the XXOO camo to not being locked, this ofcourse is up to you however it is only available through the Valentine's Lotto Box which isn't currently available and not available for ZCoin so wouldn't it technically still be locked?
Yes, you're right. I originally wanted the Locked category for items that hadn't been released yet and it wasn't known how to obtain them.
But in retrospect all items that are locked should probably get the Locked category and perhaps another category should be used for items that can be seen but haven't made obtainable.
I just like the idea of being able to quickly find different groups of items based on a category, probably just my biased though. I doubt there's a want among those who visit this site for that kinda of categorization.
