Well yeah you are right in that but i dont think its a bad thing, as long as we can keep updating the old information so it will eventually become up to date because alot of the older pages are still filled with vague and/or irrelevant information.
I didn't think you were, however i do think it is nice that you are critical when it comes to second and third party information, it makes for a trustworthy wikia and nobody wants information that one can't trust.
I think its a good idea, and for the most of the titles i am already doing this, i am however using the colors of the ingame items which are, Grey (Common), Green (Uncommon), Blue (Rare), Purple (Epic) and Orange (Legendary) in that order.
I am totally game on doing this but you are aware this require us to add it to most of the pages on the wiki since this was updated in the recent patch.
if possible we could add it to the infoboxes, but if that is the case then we will need to correct the infoboxes to be able to have the Rarity input, and that goes for an infobox to the titles section too since they use it too and im not sure theres an infobox like that :P
Alright, my bad. If you're using Sub-heading 1, it should be placed under the Overview header or a header of similar nature that makes sense logically. You can expand the Table of Contents to see how the wiki logically organizes headers based on their location and type (Heading, Sub-heading 1, Sub-heading 2, etc).
If you're using Heading, that can go almost anywhere.
The only reason I brought this up was because a couple of the pages had the Rarity header under a Heading like "Orginal Stats". No big deal, just something I noticed and thought that eventually it'll probably need to be moved.
But you did move it right? if not ill go do it. I looked it over afterwards and the placement of the rarity header was not correctly placed as you said yourself, it didn't belong under the original stats because it is not one of the original stats so it makes sense not to have it fall under that section
I guess the Statistics header and its corresponding information could be deleted and that would fix it as well. This might be the better solution and I don't know the formulas for how each barrel affects each weapon (post parity patch).
How about using something like the Male/ Female option on the Gear info boxes? then we just have to figure out the pattern which shouldnt be hard when comparing information, i can do it for you when i have time.
I saw you edited the Composite Stock page and it looks good, but Composite Stock is an actual item you can equip in Blacklight: Tango Down but it does make sense that most stocks in Blacklight: Retribution are composite stocks. Additionally all the pages that link to Composite Stock are BLTD pages and I don't recall anywhere in-game (in BLR) that says composite stock, but I definitely could have missed it.
I guess what I'm wondering is, should the Composite Stock page really have the Blacklight: Retribution category and a link within it to Blacklight: Retribution?
I added the BL:R tag because a composite stock is a general term for some stocks so as you say it makes sense that most stocks are composite in BL:R, but reconsidering it, it is not specified which stocks are made out of what materials and techniques so i'll be removing the link and tag.
Btw i bought the Game blacklight: tango down out of curiousity and interest, you wouldnt happen to know how to start the game without the Game for windows live? since the GFWL servers have been down for some time i cant seem to find a way to play it
Hey uh, not sure if this message was automated or not but i'll take leap of faith and hope for a response. I've noticed that the "Helmet of the Drought" didn't have a page so i wanted to add it to the helmet table but i cant figure out how to add a space more for it so i was hoping you could help me :)
Hi, that is a completely automated message. To add a new row to a table, click anywhere on the last row, it should become selected and there will be a small white box in front of the row. Click on this white box and select either "Insert above" or "Insert below".
If you're in the Classic Editor, its a similar process but you'll have to right-click on the last row and then contextual menu will display, allowing you to add another row.
